How can my friends benefit from Funditbynet?
We believe many non-profit organisations could benefit from our risk-free fundraising service.
The more people get on board with Funditbynet, the greater the benefit to the fundraising community.
If you spread the word about Funditbynet to your fundraising friends, encouraging them to order, not
only do you help their fundraising efforts but also raise extra funds for your cause - £20
for every first time order placed by your friends.
How can I share Funditbynet with my friends?
There are many ways by which you can share Funditbynet. On your personal Donation Dashboard, you can send email recommendations
and monitor their progress. Here you will also find your personal sharing link, which you can post anywhere on the Internet to get
people to join up – Facebook, Twitter etc
How long will I have to wait for my donation?
Your fundraising friends need to place their first order with us within your 10 week Donation Period. You will receive your
donation automatically up to 28 days after the last of your referred orders have been delivered. This is an automatic system so
if a failure has occurred, please contact us so we may rectify the situation.
My fundraising friend has cancelled their order. Will it affect my donation?
Unfortunately yes. Our automatic donation system becomes active once the referred order has been delivered.
If your fundraising friend cancels their order and a delivery does not take place, you will not receive a donation for this.
One of my referrals has already used the service. Can I still refer them and receive a donation if they order?
The idea of our Share us scheme is to inform as many new members of the fundraising community as possible about Funditbynet’s risk-free
fundraising service. Your referrals must be unique in order to count towards the donation system. Of course you may refer
Funditbynet to anybody, but if any of these referrals happen to be on our system already, you will not receive a corresponding donation.
How will my donation be paid?
Once the 10 week Donation Period is over, we will total up the amount of orders received from your fundraising
friends and donate accordingly. We will automatically credit your bank account or the bank account of your organisation with your total donation.
To be clear, the donation will never be paid in the form of vouchers, tokens or website credit – this is real money paid directly into your relevant
account. We anticipate this donation will further benefit your cause and fundraising efforts. Once the Donation Period is over, if your friends have
placed any qualifying orders, you will be emailed and informed to log onto your account and enter your bank details (sort code and account number).
Can I receive a donation on more than one occasion?
No, the donation system can only be activated once. Once you have activated the donation system, you have 10 weeks to encourage orders
from your fundraising friends. However, you can add additional email addresses to your referral list at any time during the 10 week
Donation Period.
Is there a limit to the amount of email addresses I can add?
No, you can share us with as many fundraising friends as you wish.
When does the Donation Period begin?
The Donation Period begins the moment that you submit your initial referral. Through your account screen, you will be able to
enter as many email addresses as you wish, and submit them all simultaneously. The 10 week Donation Period will only begin to
count down when you hit the submit button. The Donation Period lasts a total of 10 weeks (70 calendar days).
How can I see what donation I will receive?
The process has been designed to be 100% transparent. Through your account screen, you can access your Donation Dashboard.
Our traffic light system allows you to check the status of each referral – who has ordered and who is yet to. Our countdown
clock displays your remaining time in the Donation Period.
Will you store my friends contact details indefinitely?
In order to track your referrals and corresponding donations, we will store your friends’ names and email addresses until the
Donation Period is over. Once the Donation Period is over, the details of any friends who have not ordered will be deleted from our system.
Other than your initial request, your fundraising friends will receive no further emails from Funditbynet, and their details will never be
passed onto 3rd parties.
Is VAT an issue?
If your organisation is VAT registered, you may be able to claim tax back on the donation, however in this situation we advise each
organisation to check their specific VAT circumstance. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the donation as Gift Aid only applies to donations
by individuals.
