Our Story
Ideasbynet is the offspring of 'parent' company Peter Howarth Design Ltd (PHD), a design and marketing agency based in Sheffield, that has become known for sharp copy and even sharper designs.
The adventure into the world of promotional gifts really kicked off back in 2001, when Ideasbynet.com was launched as the online answer to an industry staple - the catalogue. It was (and still is) Peter's belief that hefty printed catalogues sent out en-masse were a dying breed - that as the internet generation grew up, they would turn to the web to find their answers.
And so it proved; with users just starting to discover the brilliance and simplicity of Google (over the likes of Altavista and Lycos), and Facebook still a glint in Mr Zuckerberg's eye, Ideasbynet rode the crest of a wave as the internet's leading promotional gifts distributor.
Mighty oaks from little acorns grow, and Ideasbynet.com has grown to become the market leader in the promotional products world (well, in the UK at least).

Our Future
We are becoming increasingly addicted to online social networks, and see social media as a major player in the ever-changing nature of communications, and B2B sales is no exception. You can find us online tweeting, FB-ing, and 'plussing', and most of our staff are accessible through LinkedIn. Our obsession with branding has also rolled into the social media world, through our incredibly popular social media blog, where we have been extolling the virtues of personal branding, a set of resources featured by the likes of The Telegraph and The University of St Andrews.
